We arrived at Kai’s beach house by horse driven cart – the view that greeted us was amazing – a beautiful house right on the beach in front of a lagoon – how much better can it get?

Su, the gardner took our bags to our rooms – all 3 are different; furnished with traditional beds with crisp white sheets, large en suite bathrooms open to the sky and from the Red and Blue rooms, views to die for form the huge veranda upstairs, another perfect spot for a sun downer.

Our friends had the Garden room which is like a little house, very private with its’ own veranda overlooking the garden.

We loved the plunge pool, perfect for relaxing in. Yanti, the cook did a great breakfast and the staff were so helpful, great with the children, we felt very looked after.

Nothing was too much trouble – Su brought lounging cushions down to the beach so that we could relax and watch the spectacular sunset – people come especially to this side of the Island to watch the sun go down as it’s the best side to see it from.

At night the house and gardens are beautifully lit and Saiful the security guard is on hand at night in case anyone needs anything.

We can’t wait to go back…
