Kai´s Beach House...IS beachfront on the West / Sunset beach of Gili Air, where the views of beach & mountains give way to glorious sunsets at dusk. The two storey, mainly wooden house, has two bedrooms upstairs, and another as a separate house in the garden. ALL three bedrooms have en- suite bathrooms with fresh water from Lombok. The open air living room has flat screen TV to watch movies on & a large sofa. Breakfast is prepared for you in the fully equipped kitchen . Small gardens are back and front with a small plunge pool to cool off in. THE house is staffed by housekeepers (from 8am to 2pm ) and security guard ( 8pm to 6am ) Kais Beach House is front and center of Gili Air's chill social scene that starts to buzz at sunset time. Please note............. 1 It’s a 10 minute bicycle ride, 15 minute walk or a horse cart ride away from the ‘busy ‘ part of the island, where most of the bars and restaurants are. At night part of the way is unlit so you may need a torch / phone torch or book a horse cart. However there is a beach bar / restaurant with beach bungalows and WIFI just one minute walk away and Pink Coco hotel sunset bar and resto right nxt door. Also a 5 minute beach walk either way from the house and you will have a choice of eateries. You can also cook yourseld or the staff can organise food delivery (menus at house) or prepare a beach BBQ...both for a small extra charge. 2 This is not a villa ... it's a funky beach house with and sea breezes and AC in all the bedrooms, open style living room with no walls (but all bed rooms lock and have safety deposit boxes) Amazing beach views and great sunsets . 3 We have WIFI, but it can be temperamental due to weather conditions. There is a better connection at the hotel next door. 4 We also have cable TV , but that too can be upset by bad weather. RELAX on the day bed with a good book or recline on the upstairs balcony . Lie on a garden sun bed and contemplate a dip in the plunge pool or lie on your own beach and have that dip in the sea. Lounge on the long sofa and watch the sunset over Mount Agung in Bali! However if you do feel the urge to move, you can venture out to dive the colourful reefs around the island (there are many Dive Schools), swim with a turtle, snorkel atop the crystal blue waters, charter a boat to fish / explore other islands or hire a bicycle and delve into village life. SO the choice is yours.....take it easy at the house or be adventurous and explore the magical island and seas. |
